SPEAKER BIO:
Mary Werick is the CEO of InBody Hawaii, where she leads regional operations and connects medical, fitness, and academic professionals throughout Hawaii and Alaska with the latest advancements in InBody body composition technology.
Before opening the Hawaii hub, Mary spent 15 years at InBody USA's headquarters in California. She began as Office Manager and advanced to Regional Sales Manager and Assistant Director, leading the Clinical Research team into new medical markets. Her contributions included supporting InBody's first U.S.-published validation study by Mayo Clinic and coining the slogan "See what you're made of," which remains featured on every InBody device today.
Mary's creative, practical approach also helped identify a critical healthcare gap within Indigenous communities, contributing to the widespread adoption of InBody technology in Native American diabetes care centers. She initiated InBody's relationship with NASA, where the technology is now used in its employee wellness facility and in underwater space-mission simulations at the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory. Later, as CEO of InBody BWA Inc., Mary played an instrumental role in launching the company's East Coast office in Pennsylvania and expanding its applications in clinical research and chronic care.
With now over 18 Years in the industry, Mary believes body composition reflects each person's unique life story. By measuring muscle, fat, and water, individuals gain a clearer picture of their health - one that can lead to personalized, actionable steps and better outcomes. Her goal is to share a simple but powerful truth: What your body is made of matters more than what you weigh.
