Speaker: Emari Hunn
BIO: Emari Hunn is a visionary leader, connector, and opportunity creator whose mission is to help people thrive by connecting them with the right resources. As Senior Vice President at First Foundation Bank, she brings over 30 years of leadership experience—including 17 years in banking management—supporting entrepreneurs, business owners, and community leaders through access to financial tools, education, and strategic relationships.
Born in Japan and raised in Hawai‘i, Emari earned a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. She is Co-Director of Inspire Collective, where she leads premier event planning and strategic programming that convenes business, nonprofit, and creative leaders to foster meaningful collaboration, mentorship, and opportunity.
A Resilience Coach, Emari facilitates resilience-building group experiences and leads The Wounded Heart, guiding survivors of childhood sexual abuse toward freedom, healing, and restored joy through Christ-centered restoration. She also leads the J12 Discipleship Program at Inspire Church, mentoring individuals in faith, leadership, and purpose.
Emari serves as a Hawai‘i Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, is the 2024–2026 President of Soroptimist International of Honolulu, and sits on the board of ID8. She is also an Assistant Producer of The 100th: Seeds of Aloha, a documentary honoring the WWII Japanese American soldiers of the 100th Infantry Battalion and their enduring legacy of service.
Her commitment to service and community impact has been recognized with multiple honors, including the SBA Director’s Award, multiple Presidential Volunteer Service Awards, and other community leadership recognitions celebrating her dedication to economic development, volunteerism, and empowerment. Emari is also a contributing author in Voices of Aloha: Daughters of the King by Michelle Kawano, where she shares her trials-to-triumph testimony.
